The Blades Won the Silver BU10 Championship
at the Coronado Crown Classic!!!
Coach Ben Forey's FC Blades Boys U10 Silver team came
away undefeated and champions of the 2008 Coronado Classic.
An amazing number of goals were scored throughout the tour-
nament. Oscar Nomura, Coen Zediker, Rigos Lizarde, Joshua
Kendall-Jones, Hayden Baxter and Trevor Gorman each provided
remarkable offensive play during all four matches. Brennan Gre-
nwald gave the team fantastic support as goalkeeper with
Matthew Wiher, Sunwoo Kim, Dante Gaz and Yuki Ito as outstan-
ding defense. Although several new players have been added this
season, the ability of this team to beat players one-on-one, eat
up yards of space on the dribble and uncork thunderous shots
from a distance point toward a winning fall season.

The FC Blades BU10 team enjoyed a fantastic weekend of
soccer in beautiful Coronado, San Diego. The team played
some amazing soccer, possessing the ball very well and
also scoring some exceptional goals. The first two games
saw the team win comfortably 8-0 and then 10-2. On
Sunday the boys came up against some stiffer competition
but came away with 3-2 and 3-1 victories to secure the
championship.
It was a great team performance, coach Ben believes this
new group of players mixed with some of last years team
will have a very bright future. GO BLADES!!!!!
