Speed, Agility and Quickness (SAQ)

FC Blades are proud to announce our newest program to augment and accelerate player development, Speed, Agility, and Quickness (SAQ).

Based on the success of our recent OC Tournament of Champions event, we were able to raise some funds which enables us to make this club supported training FREE to all FC Blades players. Weekly SAQ training sessions will develop and improve all players’ motor skills with and without a ball by fine tuning individual balance and core strength. Proper warm-ups and cool downs will be taught to insure players have a better understanding of how to prepare themselves for games and training and at the same time how to recover quickly post game. Emphasis will be on plyometrics, speed training drills, agility training, soccer specific conditioning and balance training. Agility ladders, speeds hurdles, obstacle courses, weighted balls and much more are available for all sessions.  Please see attachment on SAQ defined.
